The final yr sun is slowly settin n my student lyf along with a lot of my friends n mates' is on verge of completion....a journey spannin 2 decades of fun,play n growin up is nearly over....as we look back we c a lot of things which we will never ever xperience again....from our moms n dads holdin our hands to write that first alphabet to the fast paced typin of computers n touchpads we all have come up a long way...its really difficult 2 sum up everythin n everyperson involved in dis process where we go thru the transformation kiddos-->smart citizens,but i guess the 4 yrs of our college lyf(engg 4 most of us i know ;D) will be a good reflection of when we were students

We all r eternal students....we always keep learnin(yep u too....n i know u aint a nerd)....but oficially we wont be students nemore(well most of us...though i envy those of u who plans higher studies ;P)

This blog is dedicated to all of u guyz n galz who will be student no more come jun2011...

U wud think wats new....we hv already read 5.someone....nope its not at all similar 2 it...tht was IIT,even a dud ther ends up being chetan bhagat....here at NIT n other colleges,u c lyf in a whole different aspect...we aint IITs....our profs also knows tht,so do us....n i can guarantee each one of u can relate it 2 ur lyf as i will go on....so frends here is the thing tht we all will cherish forever....

AIEEE result day

yippy got SR 104...."bhad me jae IIT"....i wud get 2 stay at home right here in Rourkela...n frankly NITR is no less(actually more happy tht i wud get a byk if i stay at home ;D)...but what branch 2 choose??wont get EC 4 sure...but all other options r open lukin at last yrs admission...

DAD:take a core branch...

MOM:Take whatever u lyk...god will guide u...

Counsellin day

hmm...seems lyk EI is the hot fav in my level....ok ill take it(wahi semiconductor transistor padhna hi h...ho hi jaega ;D)

nxt seems CS...but wait...with my compu knowledge(i barely knew how 2 copy paste n stuffs which kindergarden kids cud defeat me in nowadays) it wud b tough...but ok lets follow the trend(EI toh milna hi h 99.9% sure)

nxt EE n ME....dad bhi khush ;D...i guess tht wud suffice

how can tht happen....god cheated me....last guy to get EI was SR103...just 4 1 rank i m into unknown territory....last hope slidin(though it never happened)

ME:yah....now god will teach me na....with my compu knowledge "ho gaya"...i wont last 4 yrs....infact i dont even hv interest in compu....i lyk cars...shud hv opted 4 mech....damn this compu...dont knw how on earth i ended up takin this bloody trade :x

nxt day...got my bike :D...forgot the "tragedy" tht happened wid me...n prepared 4 4 yrs of struggle....happy though tht i will be an NITian(cool)

1st day at college

wat d hell!!!

tym table says 8am-5pm daily 5 days a week....along wid dat 2 days u have 2 compulsorily come 4 joggin(blv it or not...attendance 4 joggin too).....n 1 day u will hv to go thru either Physical education/NSS work or NCC(attendance here too)....85% attendance must or u ll be degraded...so on

gud...scare off every single person who comes here,wid such a schedule...well!no other choice...fasten ur seatbelts 4 a hard lyf ahead ;(

ME(kinda scratchin my head n thinkin):pagla gaya h sala....beta paida hua jaisa kya uchal rha h...sab sanki bhare h kya idhar!!!

SENIOR:ladke ye kya pehna h be !@#$% kal se full formal....no ghadi,no belt bahar mil dsouza school ke samne poora funda batata hoon....aur sunn...tu rkl zone ka h....koi aur zone wala kuch bole toh chupchap sunna par karna kuch nai

ME:ok bhai(aadat se majboor....used 2 call school seniors bhai)

SENIOR:bhai kya bol rha h be !@#$% sir bol aur 3rd button dekh

ME(reluctantly):par sir mai toh T-shirt pehen rakha hoon kahan 3rd button dekhun!

SENIOR:@#$%^ kal se

ME:ok sir

damn it!!i feared this day n now its infront of me....pata nai kya kya karwaega sala...kahan fas gya!!!

thruout the yr i played cat n mouse games wid seniors...never came in formals...seniors named me dude n i was the most targeted junior untill that day wen somethin serious happened...

all the seniors n juniors who used 2 meet at the raggin session at dsouza school(did manage to avoid it everytym) were summoned n were handed severe punishment....soon everyone found out the so called mole who leaked the info n now i was the 2nd most wanted(phew)

1st yr passed by wid the hectic routines.....disastrous results along with markin patterns never even imagined(2.2/10 thnx mr bisoyi) ruled the yr n now i was in a branch wid no interest in it+a cg tht makes sure i m doomed+targeted by seniors+havent made ne good friends(hostelites used to bond among themselves...bein a dayscholar was kind of a curse ;( with the schedule ther was no tym to make friends at hostel as most of our tym was spent in the insti itself :()

lyf cant be more messed up...but thers always a silver linin....4 me it was my home.....atleast had my family 4 company n mom's food ssslurp...so chalega ;D n den ther was the love of my lyf(dont float ur imagination ;P) cricket...india hv won the inaugural T20 WC n everything was not bad
